Professor Machi's paper was written following tests of Carol Everett's ability in diagnosis and healing at the Tokyo Denki University.
The tests included varied psychic testing but the main thrust of the professors observations were based on intuitive diagnosis and healing. In particular what could be repeated under laboratory conditions.
The testing was done at Tokyo's Denki University, Sept 1994. It was also filmed by Fuji TV for Japanese national television.
The TV segments showing Carol's work have been seen in documentary program segments including 'Sightings' and 'Beyond Chance', in countries including USA, UK Japan and others. Its content raised interest because this was the first time repeatable real time measurements of healing had been possible in the lab.
Professor Machi said during an interview with the Sightings TV production team, "We don't have an actual scientific measurement for healing, but because we have tested many healers I know that her ability is on a very high level". Doctors with Carol . Intuitive diagnosis has helped many cases. Often symptoms alone, not the root causes of illness are addressed by mainstream medicine. This root cause is what intuitive diagnosis gets to. Carol works in conjunction with a number of doctors in London and elsewhere who research and adapt the information she produces. To date with much success. Carol works on almost 'impossible' medical problems where the suggested treatment may at first appear to be at complete odds with the conventional symptoms approach. But intuitive diagnosis, in conjunction with the doctors, also by using healing, has resulted in people suffering less, often been cured and certainly enjoyed a better quality of life.
